Hello!

My name is Amie, I am from the UK, and I make handmade lino prints. What started as a hobby soon turned into a small business when I began to take part in local craft fairs and also taking commissions.

How It All Started…

I first found the love for lino print in 2017 and have been researching and developing my skills since then. I initially began lino cutting as a way to relax and indulge in the simplicity of the process; from the feel of cutting the lino to the sounds of rolling the ink.

I find most of my inspiration through Flora and Fauna. The natural lines, shapes and colours are always a source for exploration for me and provides a broad range of themes for design.

What Is Lino Print?

Lino printing is a type of printmaking where you carve a design into a sheet of soft linoleum. You cut away the parts you don’t want to print, then roll ink over the raised surface.

Finally, you press paper onto the inked block, and the design transfers to the paper.
